A Renewed Visual Expression for Giving Tuesday
Dream Center is a Los Angeles–based nonprofit dedicated to transforming lives through free programs that address homelessness, hunger, and addiction. For this Giving Tuesday campaign, the organization wanted a refreshed visual style that felt warm, hopeful, and deeply human. The design reimagines their digital presence with an emphasis on storytelling and connection, creating space for real voices and real change to take center stage.
Story-Driven Giving That Invites Connection
The primary focus of the Giving Tuesday webpage was to encourage donations by immersing users in the stories of families, veterans, and individuals whose lives have been impacted by Dream Center. Video stories, engaging carousels, and clear impact statistics work together to show the tangible difference each gift makes. Powerful photography of those served by Dream Center is layered with warm, scanned textures of dried flowers and foliage, creating an emotional, tactile feel that draws users in and reinforces the message that every story and every contribution matters.
Youthful, Warm Visuals Across Web and Social
The campaign’s visual identity extended beyond the webpage into social graphics designed to feel youthful, organic, and uplifting. Scanned images of dried flowers and foliage became a signature element, adding warmth and humanity while symbolizing growth, resilience, and care. Paired with expressive typography and authentic imagery, these visuals created a cohesive, shareable system that felt approachable and emotionally resonant, helping the Giving Tuesday message reach audiences with sincerity and heart.
